Far-Right Group are Not Extremists - But Facebook wants you to think so

This is about Proud Boys. I realize I may take some heat, but gossip, and left wing propaganda, clouds the truth, and I'd like to share some of it here.

The Proud Boys, though not my cup of tea, may not be anywhere near what the left claims them to be. Half a century ago, they might be considered run of the mill western males and thus no need for such an organization with relatively the same expectations as society (personal responsibility, limited government, and stalwart patriotism).

But it has been labelled as a white supremacist group when there is no evidence of such. I've searched and all I find is regurgitation of accusation and opinion. If you find something that clearly evidences white supremacy, please post a comment. FYI, just as some BLM violent criminals cannot be generalized to the organization, same as the Proud Boys.

The CNN interview at the last link below shows how the left feels about any conservative group. And you saw a recent headline about a colored man who maimed and almost killed a white man who was not charged (again, more to learn about that story). What do you think this means for conservatives?

Back to the Proud Boys, who are in essence merely libertarians who are staunchly patriotic, if anything they might have done differently, it would be to not use the term "chauvinist".

A chauvinist by the traditional definition used in America means male supremacy, AKA male chauvinism. However, no use of the term by the group means racial supremacy. That is gleaned by thinking they are all white heterosexual males and all far right, but they are not.

The definition they are referring to something along the following as found in the Merriam-Webster dictionary: "undue partiality or attachment to a group or place to which one belongs or has belonged" and "excessive or blind patriotism". It means they pledge to be proud of and to be true to their Western country (guess no room for Eastern foreign nationals).

Some of them have gotten into violence with aggressive protestors. But so have members of Antifa and BLM. Catholics have killed protestants and protestants have killed Catholics - and not that long ago. Though one should probably give Antifa and BLM the same courtesy of not generalizing to all members that violence is expectable ... except both Antifa and BLM adhere to Marxism, which does advocate violence.

As Karl Marx himself put it, “there is only one way in which the murderous death agonies of the old society and the bloody birth throes of the new society can be shortened, simplified and concentrated, and that way is revolutionary terror.”

Again, Proud Boys are not my cup of tea. However, I share similar views in that I believe that government should be limited in their power especially to oppress freedoms, and I am patriotic and true to the U.S.A. I believe violence should be completely avoided except when it is required to stop one from committing violence against another. In fact, such is the belief of all of the warfighters I have worked with.
