Trump not Obama Funds HBCUs

The more I dig on the left the more I find just the opposite of their claims of supporting blacks. It's like they believe they won't be able to get into power unless the racial divide continues and continues big. But that's just what it seems. Hopefully, that isn't true.

The latest thing I found is there was a "disconnect between the nation’s first Black president and the plight of its Black colleges". In short, Obama didn't work to fund Historical Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). I'm beginning to wonder what he did do for the racial divide other than to increase it.

Wanna guess who did get HBCUs funded? Yes, racist Trump. Did you get that? Racist Trump rather than Obama cared enough about the HBCUs to push to get them funded. Even despite Michelle's activism about the importance of education. It was like their hands were tied - even when the Democrats controlled the federal government!

You see, what a POTUS does, such as how he/she used executive powers to help this country, is more important than what stupid thing is said. Looking at Obama's executive orders revealed he did care for Americans (yes I pay attention to such things - search in whitehouse.gov), and then seeing him get Osama Bin Laden when tough-talking G.W. Bush did not, spoke more to me than anything else. But he didn't do much that I could find to help Black America.

If watching Joe Biden (when his speeches aren't significantly edited by the left-wing news) didn’t cause in me concern about his cognitive health, it'd mainly be his far left-wing values I disagree with that would keep me from voting for him. But I also cannot ignore the lost chance he had to improve America when his party ruled all. Instead, free enterprise declined, and companies, jobs and trillions went overseas, and the government budget and debt skyrocketed. There is also Biden's racial remarks in 1977 about desegregation causing a 'jungle' he didn't want his kids to grow up in that may reflect truer attitudes he has toward blacks.

I strongly encourage everyone who hates Trump to try the following things.

1. Try to put that hatred on a shelf, for now. Stop thinking anything about Trump did or said this or Trump did or said that - especially try to quell the instant feelings of hatred. (If you find this difficult, there might be something else to think about. More under Strong Emotions below.)

2. Ignoring who our current POTUS is, go discover what he did. Look at bills he supported, executive orders he wrote, and for those speeches he was attacked for, go watch the whole speech (if you can be patient that long). You can also read the transcripts of those speeches instead. Also, look for the things he did for minorities. You may need to skip over the portion of the media who hates him. The goal here is to find out what tangible things he actually did.

3. Finally, return to your hatred and examine it. Start to question the sources of your hatred. Was it CNN, CBS, or ABC? For each specific thing you hate Trump for, find strong evidence of incidents and actions he took that exactly evidences that thing. I'm not talking about what someone said, actual evidence. For instance, with HBCUs, if CNN was saying Trump doesn't support black education, did CNN say that or did the HBCU presidents say that? Or did the HBCU presidents say thank you, President Trump? Get my point?

Strong emotions: Just so you know, when emotions are strong, the part of the brain they come from steel neurotransmitters away from the executive (thinking) brain. This is why strong feelings can deceive us - it's a common fault with human beings. And strong feelings taking hold can cycle down the proverbial Rabbit Hole, and give way for what is known as emotional dysregulation. We are all prone to it. Just imagine how good you would feel if you identified this, got in charge of it (maybe some therapy), and then with good emotional regulation decided Trump wasn't the best person for you to vote for. Now your thinking rather than raging... One more thing is to understand that you may hate Trump because it came from the emotional route to persuasion. Journalists know how to use this route to persuade viewers/readers. Just beware.

We are so used to watching a POTUS speak from a teleprompter, which is a prepared speech the POTUS likely practiced. Depending on the writer, the speech is usually astute, savvy, and even eloquent, instilling good feelings and inspiring us (I recall Pres. Clinton's speeches and how inspired I felt until I read the "fine print" what was really going in whatever bill. Guess he was called Slick Willy for a reason.)

Unfortunately, too often Trump's addresses are impromptu. And he's not that good at it - has run-on speeches. Regardless, whoever speaks off the cuff all the time will ultimately gaffe. Pay attention to actions and not words.

Finally, I encourage you to vote not for who you like the least, but who would be best for this country – even if you hate the guy (or hopefully someday, gal). I personally didn’t like Trump from watching his show. He just didn’t impress me. But his career as an executive, even chief executive officer, is what I wanted in our executive branch. It's also why I voted for Ross Perot.

But there was something more with Trump. It was his audacity, which just might have been what is needed in this country’s executive branch to keep campaign promises. I knew he knew what has been dragging down the economy. And as I tracked him I was pleasantly surprised to see him work hard on those promises using his audacity rather than politics - and most of them he kept! The things he did are tangible things that directly impacted our economy for good and for the long term.

Creating tons of government jobs, reducing the GDP (which is supposed to pay for the government), and considerably increasing the debt to boost the economy during Obama’s tenure was borrowing from the future. It is only short term.

But because of what Trump did, companies, jobs, and much more than a trillion private dollars have been repatriated – they came back to this country. Also, minority unemployment was at the lowest its been in my lifetime. This had nothing to do with the last administration despite liberal news trying to make it that way. They obviously don't understand what causes free enterprise to add or cut jobs, or leave the country with jobs and money.

Trump can take credit for removing the catalysts for why jobs and money left our country over the last two decades because what he did was a direct cause why many of them came back. An elementary student can understand it. It is real, it is true, and the sky is blue.

No wonder China hates Trump - he departed from the last two administrations to help the U.S. and not China!

"Hey let's find a virus we can unleash just before the election like we did in 2003 when our Wuhan lab first opened, so hopefully anyone else but Trump becomes POTUS and we can get back to raping the U.S."

If who you listen to tells you the sky is pink with yellow polka dots, you might want to find someone else to listen to, because the sky is blue my friend.
